An der Entwicklung der Liebenröhre waren neben Robert von Lieben noch Siegmund Strauss und Eugen Reisz beteiligt. Alle 3 meldeten gemeinsam beim Kaiserlichen Patentamt am 04.September 1910 das Patent 236716 und später das Zusatzpatent 249142 an. Die Arbeiten wurden zum Teil im Laboratorium von Strauss in Wien VII, Neustiftgasse 36, durchgeführt. Bis 2005 befand sich dort unter gleicher Adresse noch eine Firma "Laboratorium Strauss" , die Brandschutzanlagen konzipiert. Sie existiert auch heute noch an einem anderen Standort in Wien. Inzwischen ist eine Röhre in meinem Besitz, die offensichtlich aus der Entwicklungszeit der Liebenröhre aus diesem "Strauss Laboratorium" stammt. Es handelt sich gemäß Banderole um eine Glättungsröhre Type "GL" Nummer "1074". |
