Die Röhren wurden  ab 1923 zunächst von Electron Co.Ltd. unter der Marke "Amrex" hergestellt. Die Firma gehörte auch 1926 zu den Gründungsmitgliedern der BVA. (Bitish Valve Association). 

Später kaufte Mullard alle Anteile der Electron Co. Ltd. und wechselte den Namen zu Six-Sixty Radio Co Ltd.

The tube were produced by Electron Co.LTD. in 1923 under the brand name "Amrex". The company was one of the founders of the BVA (Britisch Valve Association) in 1926.

Later Mullard bought the shares of the Electron Co.Ltd. and changed the name to "Six-Sixty Radio Co.Ltd.
